Prompt: We’re looking for designs that focus on the library and what it means to you. Designs will be selected by library staff based on artistic merit, creativity, and the message communicated. How does the Boston Public Library inspire you? What does "Free to All" mean to you? Get creative!
FINAL SUBMISSION
Traveling from Norton into Boston, the main point of encounter has always been the Boston Public Library. Often, I would sit in Copley Square and sketch the urban life. Throughout the years people in different stages of life have walked in front of its Renaissance revival and Beaux-Arts style architecture, creating a beautiful collage of life itself. For this contest, I decided to honor the facade that has witnessed the different lives of Boston for 178 years.
Format: Digital Art
Software: Photoshop and Illustrator.
Honorable  ITERATIONS
BOSTON-MANIA
Answering the question, "what does 'open to all' mean to you", I created a collage of iconic Boston symbols, iconography, and people.
