Through the Society of Classical Studies's award, Ancient Societies, Modern Communities, I presented a series of interdisciplinary lectures focused on Byzantine Art across the Mediterranean.
Alongside theologist, Viviana Reina Campos, we presented to a non-specific group of people who have not had the chance to study or have not had access to classical studies. The aim of this project is to bring together believers and non-believers and explore the historical background behind the magnificent Byzantine art and its complex relationship with the political landscape.
Incredibly grateful for this opportunity that has allowed me to grow as a researcher, presenter, and member of the Society for Classical Studies community.
